(VIDEO) “RAPID TRIDENT 2021”: BORDER GUARDS AND NATIONAL GUARD STARTED JOINT TRAINING ACCORDING TO NATO STANDARDS

Training will increase capacity and improve units of the law enforcement agencies.

The training will be attended by instructors from the Joint Operational and Tactical Group of the Armed Forces of Canada in Ukraine (“UNIFIER” operation), which will improve cooperation and interoperability with North Atlantic Alliance units.

On July 6, the units of the rapid response border command of Zhytomyr Border Guard Detachment and the National Guard started joint training according to NATO standards at one of the shooting ranges in Kyiv Region.

The military men will be trained in joint planning and operations within the JMTG-U (Joint Multinational Training Group – “Ukraine”) of the Ukrainian-American training “Rapid Trident 2021” for several weeks. They will also work out the actions of unit management and perform elements of joint interdepartmental activities during combat missions.
